A 8 ft x10 ft commissioned mural for a second Facebook Data Center in New Albany, Ohio lobby was created with recycled computer motherboards, misc other computer parts and glass. This exciting mixed media piece is made up of 4 panels with a visual of things found in Ohio.

This mural features the sun from the Ohio Seal, a river, cityscape and farm fields all found in Ohio. Ohio borders Lake Erie and has a Serpent Mound, an internationally known National Historic Landmark built by the ancient American Indian cultures of Ohio. It is an effigy mound (a mound in the shape of an animal) representing a snake with a curled tail.

The farm land and the city scape were created with all computer parts. The hay bales and the Serpent Mound and the railroad tracks also feature deconstructed computer parts.

Once again the design concept to start us off on the right foot was created by my collaborator Debra Buchanan.
