Rossford 125th Mosaic Mural

The concept for the mosaic mural that helped Rossford celebrate their 125th anniversary is a focus on the glass industry that has had such a huge role in shaping the City of Rossford.

The visual represents the three elements that are needed to create glass, fire, sand and water. 

Three plexiglass panels hang together in the Rossford City Offices.

The visuals are created with stain glass and cullets (scrap glass) from the NSG factory.  The cullets are clear and after the mosaic was created by the community, a spray paint design with special translucent spray paint on the clear cullets created a stunning mosaic.

The community hadthe opportunity to join in the creation of this piece at the July 28th celebration.
