Reflections

This sculpture has been commissioned by the City of Warsaw and the Warsaw Public Arts Commission installed in their Central Park. The community will had an opportunity to help mosaic a portion of the sculpture.

This sculpture was created with 6” pressure treated round poles that are bolted through steel joining plates to create a tetrahedron type structure.   The structure is 10ft high and has a footprint of 10 ft. Lexan (polycarbonate) panels have a mosaic design.  These panels will feature colorful glass in angle shapes.  The panels are grouted with a two-part resin grout.

The panels are secured with stainless steel hinge plates and aircraft cables and stainless steel eye bolts. Roof section of polycarbonate will be one continuous panel, which will shed water and snow.  The side panels will be created with smaller panels that have some openness around them.
